Ok well does anyone know if Dollar General PG tests show eavap. Lines? I know sometime the Dollar TRee ones have for me. Anyways I took 2 dollar store ones yesterday and Nothing....nadda thing. I took with FMU this morning and got two very very very faint positives. I dont think its an evap. line because its not grey and it showed up after 3 minutes. It's still there 3 hours later. what do you think? Do you think that a first Response would show it better? Do you think I should wait and do a FRER with FMU?? Oh my god I am totally freaking out haha. I am just afraid because I have had evap. lines before but this just seems different since they same test had nothing yesterday

I tested with an off brand from the pharmacy.....It was positive.....To be honest, I peed on the test twice because I didn't think I got enough on the stick. It still came out positive. Ofcourse, later that night I took the second one and got the same result. Now I'm 30w3d...Keep in mind too that a lot of the cheaper tests are manufactured by BIG name companies. I think they work just as well.

ok well guys I ran right out and got a First response came home and took it right away and BFN. The only thing I can think is I did drink a cup of tea right before I ran to get it. so maybe it was diluted or maybe the dollar store tests are just picking in up earlier for me. I am going to get more dollar store tests tonight and testing again with FMU to see if it is darker or what. I did read a ton of things on here about women getting bfps with dollar tests first. hat do you think?

I would get another test maybe the E.P.T  or FRER and test with FMU so you will know for sure but I would take it as a positive. I have never had a evap line and I have used all different test! Good Luck and let us know in the AM!!!

I've always heard that the evaporated line has no color to it. If the line is the same color as the test window it is an acurate result. I don't honesly know how true that is. I never got evap. lines and all my positives were the same color line as test window.

this same thing happened to me mine wasn't grey (they were purple) either and both showed up within a few seconds after urine started making its way across the window. the next day got a negative and it never showed up an evap line. all three test are the same as when i took them still today. i had blood test done yesterday and just got results back this morning NEGATIVE!!!! but nurse did say to come back in a week or 2 if i still had the symptoms. so hoping that it was just to early to tell. best of luck and baby dust!!!!!!!!
