I'm 7 weeks and bleeding, is this normal?

I took a pregnancy test 2 days after my period was to start and it came back positive. My period never came so I went with the thought that I am pregnant. I made an appointment for 12/1/16 which in a couple days but for the past week or so I've been lightly spotting and I figured it was normal because everywhere I researched women said they spotted as well. Today I get up and I'm bleeding full on like I started my period. I don't know what's going on. Am I pregnant? Is my period super late? This is my second pregnancy but I never had anything like this with my first.

I'm headed to the er now to be sure. The bleeding has lightened up but it's still coming out. I'm nervous because I am having cramping and it feels like Braxton hicks.
