I have gestional diabetes I gained 9 pounds in 2 weeks and my blood sugar been higher than usually & I have feet that are swollen , and I was wondering if I could get induced at 39 weeks?
More than likely they will. I have a friend who went through the same think and she was induced right at 37wks. Her diabetes got so bad it was the only option she had. But the lord took care of her! She delivered a healthy (10-pounder!) and the diabetes went away almost immediately. If your doc thinks it'll put u at a higher risk they probably go ahead and induce u if u and your baby are healthy enough. Best wishes!
