Induction

39 weeks gonna see if my doctor will induce me..really  bad pelvic and hip pain!!! can hardly move..ugh I wonder if they will induce me? articles say itsca good chance..any thoughts on this?

I agree with geekmom, they shouldn't induce unless medically necessary. Interventions lead to more interventions

I tried and was told no they only do it if its for a medical reason or if your past due espically for a first time pregnancy. Ill be 41 weeks on Wednesday and will finally be induced. Try walking alot to relieve some of the pain i know you said its hard to move but it does work i promise

That depends on your doctor. Generally doctors don't/shouldn't induce for discomfort, only for medical reasons, until after the actual due date. The end of pregnancy is uncomfortable for everyone, but labor starts naturally when it does for a reason. Babies generally arrive when they are truly ready, regardless of someone else's plan.
