Infected dermal piercing while pregnant

Question

I have micro dermal piercing on my back and i think its infected... I cant take it out right not but i can like in next 2 weeks.... Can this harm the baby?? Please let me know.. I am scared... And if so , how can it affect the baby??? Anyone had infected dermal piercing while pregnant and their babies were born completely healthy?

Wish I knew how to help. But my tounge ring started to get infected a few weeks ago. And when I took it out to clean it I noticed a notch in the bar from being bitten. I think that's what was aggrevating the peircing cause I bought a new bar. And made sure I used mouthwash like 4 times a day and it healed right up. I know you can't remove dermals. But I would try washing with soap and water mulitple time a day. And using antibiotic ointment. As well as getting antibiotics from your doc.

Yes, mine grew a large lump next to it. Did NOT go away. I tried EVERYTHING! :( 
it went away when it was removed though.

Im 17 weeks and my dermal on my chest rejected like 2 weeks ago its not fully out it just kinda hangs there but its not infected no tattoo shop will take it out right now because im pregnant they told me to either let it come out on its own or just let it hang there till I have the baby, but if yours is infected I would call ur doc

I had an infected one right before i got pregnant... Took it out.. Now i only have one dermal in my back i hate it but no piercing shop will remove it during pregnancy. I think you should go to the dr or hospital and have them remove it right away. Infected dermals are really hard to fix, i tried everything before getting mine removed. I cant wait to have my son and get the other one out.

I dont think mine is infected but it grew a lump under and its making the piercing slanted. I want that lump gone so bad. I told My doctor about it and he just prescribed me some anti biotic.

If it's infected you need to take it out right away so it can heal. Infections are very hard on your body while pregnant. You need to go to the dr and have them prescribe you some antibiotics.
