Intercourse before Ovulation

My husband and I had intercourse on Thursday, January 13 yesterday I began feeling pain in the lower left side of my abdomen, close to where my ovaries are.  I read that this could be a sign of ovulation and upon taking an OPK  this morning, I found out I was ovulating.  I have also read that sperm can live up to 5 days, could I possibly be pregnant or are the odds highly unlikely?

Oh, if you are trying, then make sure you have sex at least every other day before/during/after ovulation.  :-)  Good luck!!  I hope you get a positive soon!

Yep, the sperm can live up to that long.  You have a slight chance of being pregnant.  You can take a first response pregnancy test up to 6 days before a missed period to find out for sure.  I hope you get the outcome you want - whether pregnant or not this month!  Best of luck to you.
