I had an emergency with my son 5 years ago after 33 hours of hard labor, I was miserable for weeks but never had staples , I had a planned one with my daughter 2 years ago & was up an walking 3 hours after I delivered her to get the gas pains out of my shoulders. Took about 4 weeks to feel 100% again. Having another in July. Also you dont have to have staples I just had internal sutures and steri strips on the outside
ill send you my c-section experience, it took me about two weeks to feel great each time, 4-5 days and i was off all meds, staples didnt hurt at all coming out, didnt even feel them, and 6 weeks to exercise and sex, i absolutely loved my c-section experiences!

Oh Srry I never said what the experience is like. With my first it was emergency so it was hecktic cause they were trying to get the baby out fast. I only got a quick look at my daughter cause she was taken away to be checked out in the nicu. 2nd time my son stayed with me the whole time but I hated how I wasn't mobile and frozen. I tried for a vaginal but couldn't cause of small pelvis so I was sad that I didn't get that experience
With my first I healed really fast and up and walking around as soon as I was able to but with my second I was in a lot more pain. The staples didn't hurt when they room them out. Just pinched a little bit. I think the healing process depends on uand ur body but the doctors say about 6 week to heal
