trying to concieve for almost 2 years

ok..so my husband and i have been ttc for almost 2 yrs. Well on the aprl 14th and 15th i had spots of pink blood only when i wiped and i was nauseated and had dizziness and i have been extremely tired. my period was suppose to come on the 20th and it didnt and now for the past two days i have been spotting and still feel nausated and had sore breasts and my back hurts..but im not bloated like i normally am when i get my periods..so my question is since its been so long of us ttc..should we go see a dr and wait to see if my period comes? we are overweight so i dont know if that has a factor and we are trying to lose weight as well..we just really want to have a baby and just keep getting frustrated..so im coming here asking for advice? please and thank you!!

Make use of technological advancement.  HPT is the way to go.
F/u blood work can be done for confirmatory.  If I were you, I would have tested every day since the day I see pink spot on the tissue :-)
SSBD!

I would take an HPT.  If you are late then it should be accurate.  It would save a lot of money for going straight to a doc if it's negative and you are just late. ...  Good luck and SSBD!!

Have you tested?  If not, I think you should - you could be pregnant! :-)  If you're not, then I definitely would recommend that you see a doctor:  a healthy, fertile couple can take as long as a year to conceive.....but 2 years is quite a long time.

Good luck - I hope this is it for you :-))
