Hi Ladies,

I have a question my fionce and I tried to concieve 5 days before Ovulation. is it possible to still fall pregnant?? I have got Nausea, sore boobs (not to sore though) my nipples have a tingling sensation that on and off, i have a strange feeling in my tummy and my cm is creamy/watery. I ovulated Yesterday is it possible that i could be feeling this so soon if i am pregnant? I have been trying for 6 months so i am trying not to get my hopes up this does seem to soon to me but i am not sure.

Could really use some advice please..

Sperm can live in a female for 3-5 days (and sometimes as long as 7 days) so it is possible that you have gotten pregnant. As far as symptoms, the soonest they can be felt is a week after conception and as you just ovulated yesterday, I highly doubt any of them are related to pregnancy. Wait two weeks and take a test with first morning urine. Also, you might want to try having sex closer to the day you ovulate. Like the day before and/or the day of ovulation. It might help increase the likelyhood of pregnancy.

that's kinda a tough one early pregnancy symptoms can be just about the same as when you are getting ready to start your cycle the only thing that I can really tell you is to wait until your cycle is due and take a HPT. I WISH YOU THE BEST OF LUCK THOUGH BABY DUST TO YOU. Please let me know how things go

I've read stories of ladies saying they "felt symptoms" 24 hours after ovulation. Whether that's true or not, I don't know. It could have just been from a change in hormones, or to put it nicely in their heads...I know how frustrating it can be when you're trying and every month you find some new symptom that leads you to believe that you are pregnant only for your period to show. I tried for a year with a three month break with this baby, and every month I thought I was pregnant.

Sperm can live up to 7 days inside the vagina in the right conditions. How do you know you ovulated yesterday? It could be that you ovulated earlier than you thought. Since you say you ovulated yesterday wait 14 days and test! I hope you did get pregnant this month!!!

I guess i dont know when i ovulated, i started getting back pain on the 23rd and when i had a look at the online calculators it said most fertile between 24th and 27th, so i thought that meant that the egg releases on the 27th.

I just realised that i really have no idea about this stuff!! GOD HELP ME!!

The most accurate way to tell when you ovulate is by using OPKs and charting your BBT. Online charts give an idea, but it's only a guess and you can ovulate late or early. (or sometimes not at all)  I've never personally done either, so I don't have actual use and knowledge of them, but from what I understand, OPKs will show a positive when your body is about to ovulate. (I believe you ovulate within 24 hours after the positive) if you chart your BBT, it will also show a slight temperature spike when you ovulate as well. These both will help you to know when to have sex so you're not guessing quite as much.
