Itchy Nipples, Constipation, Bloated, Gassy

Hi everyone
So for the past few day Ive been very gassy, feeling bloated and crampy on and off and constipated, and have very sensitive itchy nipples.  I had these same "symptoms" and more late last year/early this year and was sure I was preggie but found out it was just the BC I was on (Ortho Tri-Cyclen which makes your body actually think its preggie and once I stopped it and got on Yaz in Feb all that stopped).  So I did the Yaz for not even one month and decided to stop hormonal BC altogether just because Im tired of trying new ones every month and making my body go crazy.  Ive felt fine off it and had no problems until this past week.  I started an Ovulation kit early last week and actually peaked these past few days, about the 10th/11th I had the dark Test lines that matched the control line if not darker.  The last three days the lines have gone back to faint but now these symptoms started again.  We did have sex a few times before and on ovulation days.  Any ideas if its a possibility, or any similar experiences?

** Just to note, the only time I have ever had sensitive itchy nipples was when I was on the Ortho and my body thought it was preggie.  I have never had them with any other ovulation or period before.  And when it comes to the gassy, bloated, constipation I havent been eating anything different than what I normally do. **

Thanks for all the answers so far.  I know its in your system always I was just wondering if it would stay high if your preggie or go back down to the normal lesser levels of pre-ovulation if you get preggie at ovulation.  I guess Im officially 4 DPO.  And Ive always had regular periods, even coming right off BC as Ive been on a few different types and had months inbetween when I wasnt on anything and had no weird cycles but you never know.  I wish women werent so complicated.  Well, heading to bed now, will check back tomorrow. Again thanks for all the replies so far!

Your LH, the lutenizing hormone, is in your system all the time, it just spikes around when you are about to ovulate. HCG is the pregnancy hormone, and it only starts becoming detectable after the egg implants. Implantation happens 6-12 days after ovulation. If you know when your period is due then 14 days before it's due is the day you ovulate. Positives on an ovulation kit mean you're going to ovulate in the next 24-36 hours. So that being said, if you have been getting lower levels the last three days I'd say you're past ovulation now, and you can probably test in about 10 days but, once the egg implants it can take 2-4 days for the HCG to be high enough for it to show positive on a pregnancy test. So if you test and it's negative wait a couple more days and test again. BUT again, it could be your body regulating after the birth control, I was only on the pill for two and a half months, and it took six months to start having a normal cycle again.

Thats usually my first symptoms, very sensitive nipples(sometimes itchy) & tender breast. A little abdomina/back pain or cramping but not painful. How many dpo are you? I just tested yesterday at 11 dpo on got a BFP. Maybe you can start testing...

Hi!!
Thanks for being the first to answer!  I thought the same too but Ive been off the BC for over a month now, cold turkey off, so I just figured I would have any withdrawel before now.  Also to others reading I forgot to mention peeing like crazy!!  Seriously im going every hour to two hours even when Im not drinking alot and its not an infection I have absolutely no signs of infection.  No pain, no cloudiness, nothing infection like down-there or inside, and Ive had a bladder/uti before and def know what it feels like lol.  Also what are the LH levels like if you get preggie right at ovulation, do they go down or what?

It could be that your body is still regulating from being off birth control, or you could be pregnant. The best thing to do is to wait until your period is due and test.
