Fluttery movement in my abdomen

Ladies, this is extremely weird but is anyone familiar with fluttery movements in the abdomen, like on the right side?  Am only, what, 5w4d and definitely too early for my bean to have such strong limbs.  What the heck is going on?

Eva- your growing uterus is pushing your intestines up and so it may feel a little bloated and strange, yes. And you will most likely feel those flutters the rest of your life, LOL! Because I'm NOT pregnant and I feel it all the time. I call them Phantom Baby Kicks. In all seriousness it is just gas or a BM. You'll feel baby at about 16 weeks or further along.

Hi ladies, thanks for all your answers, really appreciate it.  So does that mean that feeling gassy when you are pregnant is different from feeling gassy when you are not pregnant?  Of course I have felt gassy before, but not with the flutters.  I can describe them as being similar to those that happen on the eyelid or cheek.

I felt the same thing at the beginning of this pregnancy.  I would lay there and feel what I would have sworn to you was movement or kicks, and wonder things like if I was further along than I thought I was.  It is definatly too early for it to be your baby at 5weeks, I have to agree with the others that it is probably gas or air.

Could be muscle spasms or twitches too. It is way to early for baby especially because he/she won't have arms and legs for a few more weeks.

Sounds like gas or air bubbles moving around. I had the samething with my pregnancies. But ir is definately too early to be baby.
