taking clomid first time help please?

Hello

so my gyno as prescribed me clomid 50mg and to take on cycle date 5-9, i am just wondering if any of you ladies have taken clomid and what your success was and around what date did you ovulate?

Thank you...!! i have faith in GOD and i have left everything on him. even when i pray i don't ask for my baby's life anymore i just ask him to do what's best for me. and i am being very patience and trusting him that he will do what's right for me :)

Hun I do believe in miracles!! I didn't no I was pregnant with my 2 boys until I was 8w5d for each of them. I had no symptoms with the first on only a weird period. The second one I thought I had the flu lol wow was I wrong. Just take it easy and try not to stress on it because some women like me do bleed in pregnancy. And man are the boys healthy! Just don't give up your faith God works wonders!!(Don't really go church but I believe in him 100%)

Thanx I m quite afraid n worried but I m preparing myself for worst. I hope things go other way than I m expecting. This is my 1st baby. Me n my husband were thrilled but it only lasted for 1 week. And started having alll these problems. Myhusband is very positive and I ve lost hope already.

i had 6th successful round of clomid and i am about 5/6 weeks now. i started ovulating straight away with 50 mg and 500 metformin  when i had my first cycle i ovulated on CD24 then when my 2nd round started i ovulated on CD17 i thought i did not ovulated that month because i started checking after CD18. then i had transvaginal scans and 3rd round showed i am ovulating on CD14. on 4th round of clomid i ovulated on CD 17 again then with 5th round again CD14 and then i think with my last i was suppose to ovulate CD17 but i ovulated on CD14 and i got pregnant. so they do start to make difference in ur cycle. i now started to have periods every 30th of every month usually i was 35-37 then i came bck to 28-29-30. this was my last month with clomid and we were thinking of discussing other options like IVF as i got PCOS. how ever even though i am pregnant i am already have been put in red zone because i am having bleeding etc. so i am having scans i could be miscarrying this baby. or it could be possible that every things going fine everything will told on 21/11/11. so best of luck

Hi ladies I'm on my first round of clomid. I take 50mg cd2-cd6. I O on my own but my husband and I have been trying for 2 yrs and no luck. I have pcos and have 2 beautiful sons ages 11 and 7. Would LOVE a daughter lol. Has any of you had success with clomid on the first round?

Hi there i started taking a dose of 50mg clomiphene with 100mg metformin 8 months ago originally when i started the treatment my progesterone level was 0.1 the first three months of taking 50mg increased this to 1.9 after the 3 months my gynocologist incresed the does to 100mg clomid and after 5 months my progesterone levels have increased to 19.7 which i think is amazing before i started taking the treatment i had secondary amenorrhea where i didnt have  a period for 4.5 years it was amazing after 4 months to feel like a woman again and have a period im in my 8th cycle now and they have roughly worked out every 33 days and am 10 days over that today i dont know what to think but will keep you posted.

I have also been on clomid previously,whilst not succesful,I was taking it CD2 -CD6. I did always ovulate within 6 days,the general rule is supposed to be you will ovulate within 9 day following last pill.best of luck.

oh and i ovulated on CD 16 when i took the clomid.

I took clomid last year and got pregnant on the third try, but sadly that ended in a miscarriage. DH and I were going to take a break but AF never arrived then we discovered we were pregnant naturally. I think when i took the clomid and got pregnant somehow it knocked my body back in to wack and things started working again. My DS is now 5 months old and we are expecting another, never thought after two years TTC I would have to get on birth control but def after this one ill be right on it. Good luck.

Hello!  I took Clomid 50mg days 3-7. I have PCOS and so even with Clomid I still did not ovulate :( but they added ovadriel injection on day 16 of my cycle and IUI and i got pregnant right away I'm now I'm a little over 32 weeks pregnant :)

Well I don't have a success story as of yet but I do pray that one day I do.  I just didn't want you to go on thinking people were ignoring this post.  I seen it but didn't respond because I haven't had success yet.  Anyways, I've been on Clomid for 2 months now. First month was 50 mg and this past month was 100 mg.  Both times I took it from cd 5-9 lilke yourself. :)   I'm praying I get a BFP for Christmas.  I'm 10 dpo today and so far so good.    Have you started taking it yet?   I wish you the best!!  Let us know how you do.  Everyone reacts different.  Good luck hun!! :)
