Lh During Pregnancy

I've read online that LH and hGC are similar hormones, making it possible to detect hGC with an OPK. Is this true? I missed my period, but LH is still negative. Is this a sure result that I am not pregnant?

Yes it is true that you can pick up hcg with an opk. BUT, it takes awhile. The level of HCG has to be pretty high to get a positive with an OPK. To see if you are pregnant you definatly need to take an hpt.

Check out peeonastick . com  it has a lot of info about this particular topic.

No, you should take an HPT that is specifically designed to detect the pregnancy hormone, hCG.  Good luck!
