How far away is the hospital from your house? The 1 I'm going to is a little over 30 minutes away. -_- I really hate that, because I know I'm going to be in so much pain. It'll probably be longer w/ traffic lights & all, ugh. 30 minutes isn't very long when you're not in pain, but that won't be the case. There's a hospital that's right down the street, but their reputation isn't so good. Why must the ambulance be so expensive? Their job is to care for the hurt/sick.

Same here! I am choosing to go to a hospital with a better reputation and it is 45 min away. My other option was 30. So either way im not close.

The one I went to was a hour/half when I got there finally I was 7cm dilated had him natural but wanted anesthesia too bad for me lol

Mine is 30 min away to. An on top of that my fiance doesn't know how to get there. So I have to tell him where to go while in pain

We live out in the country, the nearest hospital is an hour away with no traffic.  I'm nervous about taking that trip while in labor but there's not really anything I can do about it. Lol

The birthing center I delivered at last time is about 40-50 minutes from here depending on traffic but my delivery commute this time around will be zero minutes - we're planning a home birth and the midwife will come to me :-) very excited for a peaceful experience in my own comfortable space and sleeping in my own bed afterward!

Well usually i could get to my hospital in less then 10mins (not far from the house) but they recently finished their new building & will officially be open before my due date. Soooo now i have to travel to the other side of town, still not completely far but it'll take at least 15-20mins to get there. unless my bd is driving, then we'll get there in less then 10 lol

Yeah he has it but he doesn't trust it cause his phone is messed up but I'm damn sure putting it on my phone cause if not he will be getting his head chewed off lol
