That puts my mind at rest.. I didn't want the poor girl to be scared or unsettled so hopefully she will sleep most of the way :)
When my son is three months old we plan on flying from South Dakota to Pennsylvania which is two flights for us (layover in Minnesota.) And our doctor seemed perfectly fine with that. We will do the same flight again when he is around 9 months old also!
I also got a false positive once too when I was in the hospital but they did a blood test and it came back negative
I flew with my son at a couple of months and he did great. No crying, no fussing as another baby on board screamed the entire time. Literally
Yeah I will definitely ask her doctor when she's born, hopefully she will settle and sleep alot because she will be so young.. I don't want to annoy everyone on the plane with a screaming baby haha.. The flights I usually take are 10 hours from Perth to Dubai with a 2 hour stop over and then 8-9 hours from Dubai to Birmingham so it's not as bad as Sydney to London for example, we get the shorter end of it, but still that's so long!!
It's actually roughly 23-26 hours depending on whether it's a direct flight or you have a connection. My friend from work actually just did the trip in April with her daughter, though she wasn't quite as young as your baby will be. My friends daughter was 1 year and 6 months. Though she was really good on the flight, slept a lot and didn't have any problems. But definitely speak to your daughter's Dr about it when she's born or even speak to your Dr and see what they say. Everybody reacts differently. My friend was advised to give her daughter some hay fever medication (just a small amount) to help her sleep. :)
I don't have children as this is my first, but if I were you I'd talk to your baby's Dr about it when she's born
