I'm so confused ?!

So I went to my appointment yesterday and I'm 38 weeks my nurse told me I have to go back Friday to check for dilation and they said I'll probably get induced Tuesday but she said if I'm not dilated they were still going to try to induce me because my doctor will be at the hospital all next week !? Shouldn't I have a proper labor ?

Yeah, they can't force you to be induced. If I were you, I'd kindly decline and wait for your body to deliver naturally (unless you go way over your due date) because every hospital will always have someone to deliver your baby and usually it's a doctor on call. My OB didn't deliver my son but a doctor that works in the same clinic did

Exactly what I'm saying I'm just like why can't they just let my body day is ready for delivery! Is just so ridiculous and it makes me not want to go back to them at all !!!

That's what I'm saying ! I mean when she said that I was like I thought inducement was for an emergency or something and I feel fine. I just don't see why there trying to induce me just cause my doctor is going to be at the hospital on Tuesday it just makes me so mad

I would refuse, don't let them push you into something you are not comfortable with just because it is a convince to the doctor. That is bull ****. Inducing should only be done if nessacry
