Low baby

Hey ladies, FTM, I am just curious. I am 37 weeks and 2 days(full term per my doctor) and my cervix is soft, dilated a little over 1/2cm. My question is my son is super low. Like literally his head is like not even an inch above my vag. Can anyone tell me what that means? Can he break my water being so low? My doctor is very pleased with where he is at. I was measuring at 38 weeks last Tuesday at my appointment and now measuring 36 weeks because he has pushed himself down more she said. Just curious if it means anything that he is so low? Thanks in advance Mommas!

The aching is the worst. I thought he would be here by now. I now have a feeling I am going to need to be induced. :/

Thank you!! I really don't want to be induced! I hear it's worse than natural labor.

Could mean labor is coming. But, babies can drop and then not be born for two weeks. :( Hopefully it will be the former for you!
