Glucose Test Question

I go in for my 1 hour glucose test next Friday and I was told to fast from Midnight on. Just wondering if you ladies were allowed to drink water? I'll call and ask when it's closer but yeah lol

Don't drink water that can affect your results and then they will have to do a 4 hour thats the worse.

I was told not to eat anything sweet or loaded with carbs as that too breaks down to sugar, & could drink water.

My doctor told me not to eat within two hours of the test, but i ended up not eating for 12 plus hours because my appointment was at 9. I did drink water though and i passed, 71 out of 140

My doctor told me I was only allowed to drink water.

Only thing I was able to have was plain water during the fast after midnight before my test

My doctor told me to eat normally, just to avoid eating something super sweet a few hours before the test...

Mine didn't say to fast or anything. And I ate normally. The test tests how your blood normally is. Not just how you are right before the test. You can eat normally. Unless your pounding in all the sugar possible ul be fine

I couldn't eat or drink past midnight...That included no water.

I couldn't eat from 9 hours before but could drink water

I did and wasn't able to eat the two hours before. You can Drink water. Every dr is different

I asked my baby doc an he told me I could eat one egg and drink a glass of water with it before I went in.  I had my appointment at 8:40am and I ate at 7am :) an I passed my glucose test :)))..  good luck an I hope everything goes good! :D

I fast just incase and I dont eat after midnight but I do take a sip when my throat gets dry at night.

I was allowed to eat and drink before it I was just told don't eat or drink until my blood was drawn after drinking it

I guess I should speak from my experience.. I was told not to drink water. But your doctor may tell you.different

I was told not to eat for 8 hours before but I was able to drink water
