MAY BABIES!!
So im really anxious to meet everyone else who is due in May and medhelp is taking forever to make a may babies thread...so i thought at least we could do some introductions here!! So, i am six weeks 1 day pregnant with my first baby and i am due May 1st, 2010! right now my symptoms are nausea, tiredness, lots of cravings, moodiness and i have really itchy legs for some reason. i go for my first appt around September 18th...ill be 8 weeks then and i cant wait to see the little peanut!!
Just wanted to let you ladies know that I noticed as of yesterday, the may 2010 babies forum is up and running!
i feel your pain, im so sorry, sounds like yours is a little worse than mine. i know it just confuses the mess out of me how nothing sounds appetizing, with my last two i ate like a cow. every pregnancy is different though. i hope baby is getting enough in there... i try really hard to eat.
sorry you're so sick. At least you keep in mind what you get in the end. I hope you start to get easier days.
i am so sick today....like majorly ill. i can hardly move without running to the toilet. nothing sounds good to eat and everything is making my stomach churn....i cannot wait for the first trimester to be over so i can enjoy being pregnant. also my prenatals taste like ****...not the gel cap one but the solid regular tab...its like super sweet tasting and it makes me gag everytime i have to take it...i have to chant "its for the baby, its for the baby, its for the baby" in order to get it down lol. does anyone elses taste yucky? i get cravings every now and then but mostly ive just been trying to think of things i can gag down....and everything gives me heartburn!

i haven't gotten any nausea yea. ill keep my figures crossed that i don't. if I am only just 4 weeks i figure it might still be to early. We were going to keep it on the DL but then ive managed to tell everyone. I am so excited that i cant help myself. so now all close friends and parents know. (and the Starbucks lady). I have a cat but no litter box so DH got lucky with that. but he had to run to the store last night to get my green olives that i was craving and wow he was so excited. he came back with green olives stuffed with all sorts of stuff so i was in heaven. The whole time he just grinned and told me how exciting this is and how much he loves me. anyone else craving anything?
haha i dont feel bad about getting perks! i couldnt even eat my favorite meal in the world a few nights ago and that was agony, this nausea is kicking my booty! but i love being pregnant, i get to go preggo food shopping today, when i stop feeling tired...maybe i could get him to do that too.... :D
wfaMiracle - CONGRATS! I am excited for you and all of us too!
luv2bmommy - I agree with sunkissed19 - we have to pull the "I am pregnant card" so be happy about making dh clean out the litterbox (we don't want to harm the baby afterall).

I am about 5 weeks pregnant due date is May 10th I think. I havent figured it our with the dr's yet. I did IVF so I knew it was coming. I have severe endometriosis. So happy the IVF worked because it doesnt work for alot of people the first time. It took me 2 years to get pregnant. so FINALLY! I am more than excited. I dont have any symptoms really except....mild cramping, headaches and Im always hungry. Kind of worrys me I dont have more symptoms but maybe in a few weeks. Since it was IVF Ive been doing blood work since 8/31/09....every couple of days to make sure all is good. so far so good. I hope to get a sono soon as for ivf they do a sono soon usually. I cant wait to find out how many (in my case ) and the sex or sexs. I can not believe I am finally here.
haha the cat box! in the middle of an argument yesterday i pulled the "you cant stress me out its bad for the baby" card haha. it was just about taking out the trash...so he had to go do it! lol the joys of being pregnant...but hey we gotta have some perks because this morning sickness is the worst!!! i cant wait until i dont feel like i have to puke anymore!
Congrats may momma's! I can't believe you are all pregnant and due in may. I just found out I was pregnant this past april, so to see all of you, reminds me that time has gone FAST.
I haven't told anyone yet - I am excited but just me and DH know for now - with baby#1 we told immediatley and it made the pregnancy seem so long! So we are hoping to keep this on the DL for a while and see if it speeds things along! I know it is crazy and I want to tell people but we will try to keep it a secret for now!

*ladybug- traveling should be fine just remember to eat right and take your prenatals and maybe practice some deep breathing or yoga...just try not to think about it too much. everything will be just fine.

WOOO WHOOOO im gonna be a may mommy. My EDD is 5/15/2010. i feel great and so happy i could explode. after almost 2 years of TTC we finally made it and our next journey begins. Congrats to everyone on this blog that finally got there BFP's : ) I look forward to blogging here for awhile.
YEAAH! im a may mommy too! I am also due May 8, which is very close to my husbands birthday (12th). I dont have an appointment made yet but im working on it! I cant wait to tell everyone in my family, but am holding off just in case... but i think i may tell them all today anyway hehehe! i just cant keep my mouth shut. I also have nausea, fatigue, sometimes short of breath, mooooood swings lol o my gosh. I am continuing my practice in ashtanga yoga, it relieves pretty much all of my symptoms, and gives me an amazing appetite! (most of the time i cant even look at food without feeling sick) although i have modified it a bit (no more backbends or head stands, etc.) im so happy for all of us May moms, and im praying for each one of us, this will be an amazing pregnancy! congrats girls!
Well... we were trying to get pregnent for so about 4yrs now. This month, my temps were still elevated after my ovulation and I kinda knew.. but you never know for sure it has happened before and it HAS dropped before the day of AF. So may be I didn't want to believe it. But I was eating like crazy which I contributed to a side effect of Clomid.
I am not sure what it is going to be and no intuitions at all :)
Do you ladies know any of those home tricks that you can find out the sex of the baby? It would be fun to try those out.
This week is going to be a stressful one for me..going out of town for a work conference for a whole week. I wish I could just cancel. But too late as this was planned a long time ago. RE assured me flying causes no harm to the baby, but I hope picking up luggage and all the moving around will be okay. I am so stress and worried about it. I wanted this for so long and I won't forgive my self if some thing crazy like this causes any harm.

thanks! i hope i get my little princess too...i will actually be shocked if its a boy because i have the strongest feeling that its a girl...id almost be willing to bet money on it!! lol im gonna laugh when it turns out to be a boy!
a playmate for your son would be awesome! but one of each a boy and a girl would be very cool too..im the youngest of 2 and i have an older brother and loved it as a kid so a girl might be just as fun of a playmate for your son! its very cool that you and i are almost exactly the same in far along-ness in our pregnancys itll be cool to grow a big belly with you! how fun this will be!

idk what I am having and no intutions - but with my son I JUST KNEW it was a boy and I was correct! So with baby #2 - I don't really have a preference - but this will probably be our last - so a girl would be nice, but a boy would make a great playmate/friend for our son - so like I said no preferences or intuitions yet. I knew I was pregnant when I was so TIRED - I wanted to take a nap in the middle of the day and that was a big warning sign b/c I hadn't felt like that since pregnancy #1! Very excited here too!

yay!! hi everyone! im so excited, and very glad i started this thread...idk what is up with medhelp taking so long to get our page up! how did you all know when u were pregnant...for me i got major acne and then i missed my period but i knew something was up when i got the zits becuz i havent had any since middle school!! what are you guys hoping for? team blue or team pink? do u have any intuitions of what it is? i just know i am having a girl i dont know why its just a strong feeling that ive had since i found out...but i would really be happy with either. but for me GO TEAM PINK! lol
Hi. I am also due in May. I am VERY early. So I am not having alot of symptoms right now. I am only 4wks and 3 days right now. My first appointment is on Sept 22 and I am right with u guys. I cannot wait to see a heartbeat. I am moody and tired though. So, I usually get morning sickness around 6 wks. I am hoping this time I don't get too much of that. Well good luck to u ladies. Hi ladies! By the tickers I am due 5/1 - but I have a 35 day cycle and like my last baby - they will move my due date up a week to 5/8 - so I am a May mommy to be! This is baby #2 for me! Symptoms are : TIRED - and headaches - and nausea - and ligament pains every now and then - that's it for me! I remember from pregnancy #1 that the first trimester was the roughest for me - the rest went smoothly - so as long as it repeats itself, I will be happy!
