MTHFR homozygous C677T

I had two miscarriages one at 18 weeks and the second at 13 weeks. I found out, after my second miscarriage, that I have MTHFR homozygous C677T. What does this actually mean? What will happen if I become pregnant again? What should I be doing?

I've got the same thing as well.  I take a low dose aspirin everyday along with Metanx (which is one pill that contains all the b6, b12 and folate that you should need).  I am now almost 13 weeks after having 2 m/c's this year before the meds.  Good luck to you!

I have this too.  I just found out after 4 miscarriages.  It means that your body is processing blood clots or something like that. You can treat with baby aspirin b6 b12 and lots of folate.  If it is severe then your doctor will give you shots of a blood thinner.  Hope this helps.

Btw, I would start taking 100mg B6 500mcg B12 800mcg folic acid and a baby aspirin a day.  Your doctor should be able to tell you exact amounts to take.
