Making a girl

A friend told me that my best bet to try for a girl is to start trying at the end of my ovulation period.  Is this true?

I agree with glittergirl88 .. determining sex of baby is always a 50/50 chance. By what I was eating, the way I am carrying, and the position I was in everyone said I will be having a boy. In fact I am expecting a beautiful baby girl. The only thing that is right is the Chinese Gender Chart but even that had wrong cases.

Sounds like a bunch of hogwash to me. The best way to get a girl is to have babies until one comes out without a penis.

Ccarter and catlover are correct. My husband and i had sex 2 days before i ovulated and then not again until after i ovulated and we are having a girl. Boy sperm live shorter life span but die quicker but girl sperm live longer just swim slower giving them more time to get to egg. There is also something to do with how deep the penitration is but cant remember so look that up and you should be able to find it easily.

Your more likley to get a girl if u have sex a few days before ovulation as they are slower swimmers and live longer. Male sperm are faster but die quicker so ur more likely concieve a boy if u had sex the day u ovulated. Goodluck

I have herd That our should try when you first ovulate because the egg is so far back male sperm are faster swimmers but die fast verse female sperm live longer even though they are a little slower they might be able to make it before the male due to them dying from it being so far away.

the acidity of the vagina decides whoch sperm live and die. I do forget so you'd have to look up whether badic or more acidic is better for a girl. also I've heard light penetration for a girl and deep for a boy. good luck!!

Well its the mans sperm that determine sex, so I don't think the time that you have sex will affect whether or not you have a girl tbh. :) good luck!
