Marine mommies or military mommies in general

Have any of you had you baby on a base? We live on camp Pendleton so I'll be having our baby girl here at the naval hospital. Any advice on what to expect?

I had my son at camp pendleton in Oct. I had my own labor room but they were so over booked in the post partum rooms that for the first part of the day I had to share a room until they got discharged. So it was 2 moms and 2 babies. My husband wasn't allowed to stay because there was no room for him until after the other family left.

I had my son at Camp Pendleton lol. All I have to say is thank god I had an easy labor because the staff there are assholes unless your husband is an officer ofcourse lol

but yea. you definitely shouldn't have to share a room. we've had 8 babies there nd no one has had to share a room(:
