For me it's kinda hard to do it I have to be on my feet 8 hours a day I work on retail :/ I do get super tired
At my job I have 12 weeks fmla.. but I do have to use any pto/vacation and sick time I have available thats not uncommon from what I've heard . . Im choosing to work until I go into labor since im at an office..
Also I'm not trying to use my vacations they required me to do it
Well I didn't really File late they reply me back almost a month late and They are requiring me to use my vacations on my 12 weeks I don't think is legal and from what I know you just have to give them 30 days notice
Maternity leave is typically 6 weeks, and your employer usually is not required to pay you while out on leave. you shouldn't HAVE to use your vacation time, but then that would be money that you don't see while you're out on leave.
They are not letting my beat friend go on leave until her due date.. I don't really know the laws but I know she had to file for hers in August and isn't due until Oct 22.. The fact that ur filing a little late may have a lot to do with it maybe leaving earlier then your due date they are considering it your vacation time..you could always work until your due date and if u have the baby early use FMLA
