Mine only tested vaginally. My doctor told me it's a normal bacteria to have, but it can be harmful to the baby. He said it is only harmful in 4 or 5 out of every 1000 cases though, so it's not commonly a problem. If you're positive they'll just put you on antibiotics when you're in labor. That decreases the risk to 1 in 1000.

The group b test is for a bacteria that over 60% of women carry. This is a healthy bactetia for our bodies but isnt healthy for a new baby. If you test positive for it that just means youll get a shot when you get to the hospital to deliver. Its really not a big deal...worst case youll have to stay in the hospital an extra day to monitor baby
