You can always get decaf, even for espresso beverages! I love a foo-foo Starbucks drink and have just been ordering decaf. :-)

Too much sugar is not good either! My 1st preg I did sugar like crazy! Gained a lot and during labor had high blood pressure and had to have csection. So have one but make it a treat and don't over do.

I worked at Starbucks. They have light and coffee based fraps. Most people think its straight coffee but its nothing but syrups and sugar. That's really all they are milk, syrups, ice and SOME are coffee based. They should have the fraps listed as coffee and non caffinated. The caramel is just sugars milk and ice, go for it! Stay away from the machiatos tho they deff have a lot of coffee.

I've heard it's safe in small amounts. But ask your dr just in case..

I believe the base they are using has caffeine, but ask. If not just be aware of the high calories and sugar content.
