big baby??

Good morning ladies!
I am a Ftm and I had my 30 week ultra sound last week where I was told my baby girl weighs 5 pounds and was too long to measure (the tech said he would have to measure her in sections). Both my husband and I are tall btw.
Don't have my follow up until march 5th but I was just curious if from previous experience any of you had a similar situation and if it means I will possible deliver early. Your comments are much appreciated!

Thank you Jessemichelle!
I know they say you can give birth 2 weeks before or 2 weeks after your due date, I was just worried about her getting too big and having to have a c-section or something. I feel relieved that they can be off though

They said that my daughter was going to be a big baby because she always measured a few weeks ahead in weight and length and she only weighed almost 8 pounds but I also went over two weeks early which really is not to early. But they can always be off.

The ultrasounds can be off by up to two pounds. I wouldn't worry about going early. Most ftms go after their due date. Good luck!

For 31 weeks my son was 3 pounds 11 ounces. I'm now 35 weeks and he's 5 pounds 12 ounces.
