thinking I went crazy

But I'm so confused and was hoping someone would be able to tell me. I went to the hospital yesterday because i had what they called constipation but I do poop normally and have been pooping 3-4 times a day. I went because what I assumed was some kind of misscarriage or something I thought I was pregnant. I had one of those faint positive pregnancy tests a few weeks ago. But they gave me a CT scan said there was nothing wrong with me. What would cause pregnancy symptoms a faint positive, late period (I never had one) and then cause someone to pass tons of blood clots and bleed through a pad an hour? I'm confused the hosptial said I'm fine. I don't know if this is all mental or what.
