why i cant get pregnant?

Hello<

Me and my boyfriend been trying to have a baby for a month now..And I was wondering why we cant,I have had an bacteria infection in the pass.. i was wondering was this the problem?

Another thing you can do to get your body ready is to start taking a prenatal vitamin now.  

Most women don't get pregnant within the first month of trying.  Those who do are very lucky!  Like others have said ..the average is between 6mo - 1yr.  Learn to chart your ovulations cycles so you know when that small window each month is coming!  

Good luck to you and don't stress out that it didn't happen on the first try!!

that is good advice from lori--  you may also want to get online and do some research...get to know your cycle better as everyone is different.  learn how to chart your cycle, etc.  i highly recommend the book "taking charge of your fertility."  it helped me a load!  you have to really understand your body and the entire process of ttc.  good luck and have fun :-)

As the other girls said its a tricky process that isnt as simple as one would think. It can take months, years and lots of help for some people. The window of opportunity you have each month is very small to fall pregnant. It took my husband and I over 2 years of active ttc and we are now due anyday to have our first baby :-)
I would give you one word of advice... if you are planning on ttc (trying to conceive) be patient and certainly dont be stressing over it yet that it isnt happening. A month is nothing in the world of ttc. The unessecary stress will inhibit you and make it even harder to conceive in return.
You have to be trying to conceive for 12months before any doctor will usually help you anyway so I would suggest in the mean time doing some research, limit alcohol and cease any other pollutants ie: cigarettes etc, eating well, keep fit and healthy and prepare your body to the best of your ability. Best of luck to you and I hope it doesnt take you too long to fall pregnant.

you only have a chance of getting preg a few days a month give it some time a month is not long enough at all

it took me 3 cycles and i felt lucky...some women get pregnant first shot, others/most, take much longer.  as baby dreams mentioned, on average, it often takes 6months to a year.

It takes an average of 6 months to 1 year to conceive.... no worries!
