Mum is an alcoholic

im 18 weeks preg nd i currently live with my alcoholic mum. Since i got preg iv had no support from the babys daddy nd i honestly thought my mum was gonna be there for me and cut down on drinking but how wrong was i!! she sneaks out of the house around 1am and cums home even drunker and she makes out to everyone that doesbt know her true side, that shes gonna be the best granny in the world etc wen she wont care at all!!! Im also really scared that some night im gonna go into labor and she will be too drunk to even go to the hospital with me and im also scared shes going to be drunk all the time wen my baby comes along. i cant trust her at all. and i will be living at home untill i get my own place to live. Im totally petrified of being on my own. Wish i had the perfect parents and not an alcoholic abusive mother who is scum :(

I know i realise il never leave my baby with her. my older sister told me a while back, that wen we were young she would sneak out if the house at night while we were asleep in our beds. but luckily my sister was around 12 years amd knew how to look after me. As much as i love my mum... becoming a mother myself...makes me realise alot about her and i could never trust her around my baby.

Have a back up person on call that you trust. That or I made sure that my insurance covers ambulance if I need it and no one is home.
