I'm getting an ultrasound VERY soon , due to the fact they think I have too much amniotic fluid around the baby .

I had an ultrasound at 34 weeks, because my Dr wanted to know how "big" baby will be! He was estimated to weight 5lbs 6oz at 34 weeks, I'm now 37+4 and Dr is estimating him being over 7 lbs already!

A lot of women don't get a final weight ultrasound since it's unnecessary. My last ultrasound was at 31 weeks.

I had an ultrasound at  34 weeks Monday due to my amniotic fluid leaking and then they told me my baby's weight. You can ask your doctor for a growth scan. Some doctors don't do 3rd trimester ultrasounds unless there is a problem.

I haven't had an ultrasound since 20 weeks, my doc says there is no indication since I am measuring normal and am low risk. I am 37w3d
