What happens on last midwife appointment?? also signs of labour??

Hi all was just lookin 4 sum ancwers i wanna no if anythin diffrent happens at ur last midwife appointment i ave mine next wek 5 days b4v my due date so was wondering if they do like a internal or anythin 2 c if things r gettin started... Also signs of labour been gettin slight period like pains but nufin major and dont stay very long just cums and goes did ave a lil bit of blood on tissue yesterday was only pinkisk and not very much of it, had had sex a few hours b4...

She should check but if she doesn't you can request it.... I never had a midwife for any of my three but with my dr I got checked starting at 38 weeks and I requested a membrane sweep at 39 and at my last appt before my due date we talked about induction and other than that it's the same routine visit from what I remember.... With my midwife, if I am ever concerned or think I am dilating or have spotting, she would check me. If she doesn't, you can always ask since you are so close to your due date. Sounds like you will go into labor soon though!

Yes, they usually do a vaginal exam.  And sex is great to induce labor!!!

Ye tryin 2 ave planty of sex start things off lol dyin 2 meet our lil man now :)
Have been gettin slightly sorer pains 2day fingers crossed he cums soon....
