Natural vs. Epidural

So how many first time mommys here went natural or are going natural at birth? If you have/plan to what was it like/what do you expect? Everyone keeps telling me to get all the drugs you can. Even though nothing I've said about having a baby (being married first and such) has stuck, I'd really like to stick to my plan to go natual and then breastfeed with no pacifire. I'm just wanting to know the difference in number and experiences?? Would really love input from all sides, please. :)

and also i exclusively breastfeed.. pacifiers can cause nipple confusion, especially within the first month, i tried one on my daughter and she wouldn't take them, but they have been proven to reduce the risk of sids, it's on the american sudden infant death institute's website.

Keep an open mind. I wanted an all natural birth but circumstances change things. I got the epidural and I ended up with an emergency c section.

I just got done watching videos of natural childbirth without meds on YouTube, and now I'm a little scared... It's just hard for me to imagine I am going to go through childbirth! Ahh!

The medicine I'm going to get is called Nubain. It goes directly into the iv line. That's my plan anyways, if I have to get a csection then ill have to be put under full anesthesia.
