Nausea and vomiting...

So I'm about 7 weeks pregnant with my first baby. Nausea started about a week ago and has been with me every single day for 7 days straight. Today was the first day I started actually vomiting. And it's happened at least 4 times already just in this first day. I don't know when I'll be able to be seen at the doctor again, (wait time is bad out here) but was just wondering if any home remedies? Getting sick of saltines and 7-up. Not to mention I've had to call in sick for the past 4 days now. When does this start getting better? If it is any worse than this, I don't know how I'm suppose to deal with it. Nothing has helped me.

Try ginger root pills. They are safe and work wonders. Also ginger ale and peppermint tea. I had awful morning sickness to the point where I lost almost 15lbs

Aww unfortunately nausea can come and go at anytime. I had it up to 20 weeks and wasn't able to eat till about 5 pm everyday lost a lot of weight first trimester..
I was prescribed zofran but refused. Obviously everyone handles it differently, I just want to go through it naturally.

I found out about preg gie pops.. Nausea lollipops for pregnant women. You can find them at target, Walmart, I found them at babies r us.. They have different flavors and are very decent priced. I've heard sea bands help as well!

I agree with blanca, try to see your doctor as soon as you can, or go to a walk in. If you continue to vomit like that there is a very good chance you'll have to go to the emergency room to replenish your fluids and no one wants that so try to nip this in the butt. I'm not trying to scare you with that, its just I had gone through the same thing around 7 weeks where I would get sick several times a day every day. When I finally saw my doctor they said I was lucky I came in when I did or they would have sent me right over to the emergency room had I waited longer.

I tried several at home remedies, the pregnancy pops, sea ands, ginger and mint EVERYTHING, and nothing worked for me except nausea medication. My doctor first prescribed me 4mg of zofran taken 3-4 times a day and that worked pretty well for awhile. But I was sick through the majority of my pregnancy and eventually it didn't work anymore so she prescribed me 10mg of something else (sorry I don't remember the name). And during labor because I was vomiting every contraction they gave me reglan which worked.

So sorry I don't really have many at home remedies because they, personally, didn't work for me. So I recommend the medication because its not good to be so sick, it got so bad that I was throwing up blood because all the stomach acid was really irritating my esophagus (which you don't need to freak out about if that happens, just let your Dr know but everything is fine, its just painful). And as far as hesitations about the medications because some have claimed it causes birth defects, I think that's pretty rare because my daughter came out perfect. But talk to your doctor about it, they'll give you more information and prescribe you something that is right for you

I would tell you that doctors prescribe nausea/vomitting medicine for pregnant women but that's off the list. If you throw up everything you can always head to the E.R to see if they'll prescribe you something there, and to see if you arent dehydrated.
Sadly when I was going through that I tried nothing, but I'd doubt anything would've worked. But you can always try ginger in teas or hard candy.
Usually it gets better during the 2nd trimester, but for some it goes well into the second trimester and even worse, lasts throughout all their pregnancy.
