Nervous around AF time?

okay, so i'll be 10 Weeks pregnant on weds the 30th and ive been to a doctors appt and she checked my uterus and all that and confirmed that i am indeed actually pregnant and i heard it come right out of her mouth. but why am i still not believing it?? Before i got pregnant i got my period on the 24th of each month and this last 24th i was SO scared that AF was just gonna show up...and i really thought it was going to : ( But obviously of course it didnt because i am indeed pregnant. i havent even had any spotting, at all. So, if im clearly pregnant and everything is fine and ive cleared the course for AF a second time than why am i freaking out so much when the time gets near...i mean god im obviously not going to start AF and i didnt this month so why cant i just get that through my head? I AM PREGNANT! lol why is it still so hard to realize sometimes? i really need an ultrasound!! maybe ill feel better once i actually see the little bugger in there? but i wont get one until 12 weeks! blah.... im a crazy woman i know! hope everyone is doing well...

I had the same feelings in the first trimester, like I couldn't get used to being pregnant. However, it just takes time to get used to and once you experience some 'evidence' for yourself like when you do get those movements and flutters at around 18 weeks, it will feel like 'yes I am having a baby'. And also when you get quite a prominent bump, that makes it feel very real. I had quite a bump at 20 weeks !!

Hey it's me again, and i felt the same way before i had a sono, and now i had two, so im not freaking, before my sec one i was like is there a baby in there? So im not really sure why they do not do sonos by you.... till what is it 12 w? I think 8 weeks should be good enough time to do one. It really will put your mind at ease. Try not to worry, cause there is nothing you can do either way, so don't stress!!!

It will become real as soon as you see your baby from the ultrasound. I had my first at 6 weeks and then every 4 weeks after that andthat definitely helped me. I was going to a pregnancy center so you might want to see if your area has one if you can't wait to see your little pumpkin. I felt my first flutter at 14 weeks so it is possible you will be feeling your baby soon!

i thought i very briefly felt a flutter today! but it was probably just gas as it is so early lol but it felt just like a faint little butterfly...like i swallowed one! it went away though and was just that one time...i like to think it was the baby reasuring me though = )

It'll become more real when you start to feel baby moving!

I'm not much further along than you, LOL I am 13w2d today. :) I know about the all day sickness, no fun at all! I had it up until my I delivered with my son, but with this one I haven't thrown up in 2 days!!! The fatigue has gotten better too, but around 6pm, I start getting really tired again.

I would like to peek in there too, everyday if I could, :)

You're not crazy at all! I had my ultrasound at 12 weeks and heard the heartbeat and sometimes I still can't believe it, especially now that my symptoms are starting to disappear in my second trimester. I think it's just in our nature to worry and until we hold that precious baby in our hands, nothing is going to change that. :) Try not to stress so much ( I know, easier said than done) and relax and enjoy the pregnancy. YOU'RE PREGNANT! :) :) :)
