When is a good time to have another baby if you want your children to be close in age but to still give your body a break from being pregnant.....what would you ladies recommend

My two oldest are 12 years apart but that's way too much BUT, me and my sister are two years apart and me and my little brother are two year apart. i think every two years are good we grew up together and we are really close to each other.

All my kids are two years apart. I usually get pregnant again once the little one is around 18 months. Just do what feels right to you. You will know when your ready and I just trust that feeling.

My boys are 17 mos apart and attatched at the hip. When this baby comes my oldest will be almost 4 and middle boy will be 2.5

I'm pregnant with my second they will be 18 months apart so i had a 9 month break lol but this pregnancy is harder on my body for sure.  But i think this ones a boy and my mil says boys drain all your energy lol she has 6 kids 4 girls 2 boys

My two sisters and i are 2 years from each other my youngest and i being 4yrs apart. I personally get on with my youngest but she drives me more ballistic than anything lol. She annoyed me as a kid as well! She would copy everything, trying to be friends with my friends (so i barely had them over) and my personal favorite getting me in trouble for no reason lol. But me other sister who is 2yrs apart from me is an angel and i love her! Its also depends on the gender i believe, i plan to have another one in about 6yrs. I just think with a kid in school it would be easier with a second bub.

My sisters and i each have 6yrs apart from eachother. Although i really like, it because by the time i was six i was old enough to remember all the funny things my sis did and by twelve i was like a second mommy to my littlest sis, it really wasnt my parents choice. All three of us were happy "accidents". The last two pregnancy she had they didnt make it. My moms eternal clock work just did babies every six yrs i guess lol i want kids far apart like my mom. I loved it as a child still love it. Im now 21 and i have both my sisters at my place over the summer a couple of weeks sonce im home all tge time now and we have a blast!

Mine are 23 months apart and cant be but a short time with out each other.

I like the 18 month range. Mine will be that close when I have my second baby. I do agree my 4 yr old is a big help and can do alot foe himself but I think he would like a sibling closer in age to play with.

My daughter just turned 4 last month and I'm having another girl in October! And me and thier father discussed having one more in four more years. So I think four years is perfect time. But its completely up to you and when you feel ready again.

I find my middle children are the closest.  my 7 year old stepdaughters stays away from them.  my other two are 18 months apart and attached at the hips

Mine are gonna be four years apart. I like it because when my daughter starts kinder, I'll be with the baby. Sounds easier to me somehow. Lol
