Yelloweskimo- I understand how you feel! I miscarried my second and fourth pregnancies. After that first miscarriage I became pregnant again right away and was SO TERRIFIED! If I didn't have any symptoms (like nausea) I would think the worst things. My baby girl was born full-term and healthy!
And I am again pregnant, right after a miscarriage (I am 35 weeks now). I was never really reassured until I could feel baby move and do kick counts. Even seeing them on sonogram didn't help alleviate my fears. So keep your chin up and don't think about the things that are out of your control! That's what I had to tell myself and we're doing just fine. ;-)
Thanks everyone for your reassurance! It's just so hard not to worry! I try not to, but the bad thoughts are in the back of my mind, it's seems to be so much easier to be negative then positive.
Every pregnancy is different.
With my daughter I never experienced nausea after my 12th week.
With this one, I'm nauseated off n on all day everyday and I'm 30 weeks now.
With my daughter I knew I was pregnant before I even took a test because of my symptoms.
This time around I didn't even know I was pregnant till I was 3 months along because I had NO symptoms WHATSOEVER and wasn't planning on being pregnant anytime soon.
My sypmtoms other than that are also different from my last pregnancy to this one.
I wouldn't use your sypmtoms to think about whether your pregnancy is gunna work out or not.
Just be glad your having it easy this time and enjoy it!
Nobody wants to have morning sickness!!
lol
You might want to start your own thread, so your question does not get lost here.
watching symptoms to judge wether or not a pregnancy is viable is pretty unreliable. symptoms come and go as hormomes fluctuate. i had severe morning sickness with my first two pregnancies, with this one which is my third, my morning sickness and other symptoms came late and would constantly come and go. at first i too was worried and would check with my doctor for ultra sounds but i soon learnt and caught on that this is common.
if it makes you feel better and for a peace of mind, see your doc for ultra sound. seeing baby and heart beat can really put you at ease. good luck and CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!
well im back here again for advice. Well i had sex with this guy and now i really am pregnant. i am so scared and i have been pregnant before and i had a miscarriage. i dont know if my body can handle this. im in high school and i know longer live with my father i now live in a group home.
i am so scared
Symptoms are a pretty unreliable way to judge a pregnancy...I myself had NO pregnancy symptoms until I started gaining weight and am now 40 weeks. I think the best thing is to stay very hydrated, eat well, rest, and stay calm and positive. Congrats and good luck!
