Not a pregnancy question - but I'd appreciate responses

Hi, I try not to talk about my personal life on this forum because I know it is for pregnancy questions but I just needed a few opinions. My fiance who I have been together with for four years has a child with another woman who he was in a relationship with before me. Their son is 4 years old and the sweetest guy ever. He lives with me and my fiancé and sees his mother on the weekends (her request.) Ever since I have been pregnant she has been doing and saying terrible things to and about me and my baby. She recently coached her own son to tell me he wanted my baby to die. When I confronted her about this issue she became incredibly defensive and ended up trying to get into a physical fight with me while I am 8 months pregnant. I did file an police report.  They have done nothing. Today she texted my fiancés phone and said if she ever sees my baby she is going to smother him. Should I file another police report? Maybe with a different county or sheriff's department? She is incredibly hostile and jealous that my fiance no longer wants to be with her, even after 4 years. I am genuinely concerned she will take it out on her four year old or even worse try to hurt my baby too. Sorry for the long story.

I took the texts to the police station and they said they will submit the report to the district attorney to see if I can get an emergency order of protection. It was crazy while I was at the police station she called my phone so they told me to answer it and put it on speakerphone and she was saying all the same stuff!! The cops heard all of it...they may arrest her for phone harassment

Omg! That is crazy I'm sorry you have to deal with that! If I were you I would do everything in my power to make sure she is NEVER aloud around you or your baby! If the police don't do anything I would call repeatedly or better yet just go to the police station!

Call the cops!! That chick is crazy and unfit to be a mother!!!! Id print the texts and show them then have ur hubby to be file for sole custody and an order of protection or restraining order

Go straight to the court house with the texts. It's enough to get an order of protection until other matters are worked out. Wishing you luck!!

Definitely file a report. Hold on to the text messages for evidence.

WOW !!! what it wrong with her?? who threatens to smother someones child ?? go to the police, show the messages and file another report and i would look into a restraining order .. i mean there is something crazy going on in that ladies head !! And if they still think that your just being paranoid then make them understand !

Unfortunately you wont be able to file in another county..if it will have to stay in yours. I would call and make a report though. Show them the texts. And I would be taking her to court..shea around like shes unfit for her own kid

I say you do... She can be going through some bipolar disorder or on drugs... Try and file another report keep text as evidence

Please go file another report and take your fiance with you so that you have the evidence
