is it possible to still get a positive test??!!!!

If i am due to get my period the first week of July(2nd or 3rd day) and i took a test today that came up negative is there still a possiblity that i could get a positive test? I bought the first response (6 days b4 missed period) test.. What is everyones thoughts? Please!!!

Yes. If you're not due till next week, it was probably too early to test.

Yes it is very possible to still get a positive test. Some women won't even test positive until a week after their expected period. Even though the tests say they CAN detect 6 days before your missed period that doesn't mean they WILL. It all depends on the amount of HCG you have in your system at the time. So no matter when you test if the HCG in your system isn't high enough to show up on a urine test it will come out negative. One of my good friends tested frantically because her husband insisted she was pregnant, but all of the tests can out negative. That is until about a week and a half after her expected period when she got her BFP!! I myself just found out I was pregnant but all of the tests I took before my expected period were negative, I got my BFP on the day I was supposed to get my period. I tested 4 and 5 days before my period was due using those same  First Response tests, but again they were negative until the day I was supposed to get my period! Well good luck to you!!

It's very possible you just took it too early. I would take another one on July 2nd. Best wishes to you!
