My last u/s my Dr told me that I had a 'flat sac" I asked him what that means and he said "nothing, it just means it not a perfect cirlce" he then told me that I have nothing to worry about every sac just like every pregnancy is different. I went to the doctor today and my baby's heartbeat was 162 bpm through a doppler, I am now almost 10 week. Im sorry your going through this, but try not to stress too much.
I'm not sure if a pregnancy can survive if the sac is irregular but it seems that with pregnancy what is norm for one person is not for another, you know? And the technician isn't allowed to tell you anything because she is not a medical doctor. So I'm sure she wasn't clueless; just trying to not freak you out.
Thank you! and yes I feel better that the ers dont know everything so now i can see someone who can hopefully tell me more and preferably that i'm ok. I think if i am ok I'll just be high risk because I feel fine I only spot when I am 'pushing myself' to doing things (little things) such as stand too long. I dont know I am just being cautious. I would go on bed rest from now till delivery if it would mean I'll deliver. Pray and wish me luck!
Wow what a waste of time! I am sorry that you are having all of these problems and sometimes it takes a high resolution ultrasound, not to mention someone that actually knows what they are doing, and ers are not always the best place for any of that. I hope that you get the answers you need on Monday.
sorry i meant to say i went last night, see how out of it i am. but i came home at 3 in the morning. and thats the thing they 'couldnt see much' they had trouble just seeing the baby they seemed kinda clueless (well just the girl who did the pictures on my ultrasounds) so i was like whats there she was saying i don't know to all my questions. She was like I cant tell you anything, or too much I just take the pictures. So they didnt mention heartbeat, I called and have an appointment monday at 8:20 so I'll let you guys know how it all turns out. Thank you for your words and a good chance (if a heartbeat) that things will be ok!
Hey I looked this up online... Are you seeing a baby and a good heartbeat? I read on W I K I ANSWERS that if you see a heartbeat and a baby that there is a good chance that even with an irregular sac that your pregnancy will most likely progress just fine :) I hope that everything is ok with you and your beanie...
I had bleeding called a sub chorionic hemorage. I bleed on and off for two weeks and then stopped and it had disolved. The was at 5-7 weeks and I will be 24 weeks tomorrow.
I have never heard of an irregular sac before though. I would not take to much as to what an er says anyway! I had contractions at 12 weeks and went to the er and he gave me a vaginal exam to check dialation, then said he had no clue if I was dialated. I yelled at him and told him he had no right to check me then! Like they said your levels are consistant with 9 weeks. Mine were around the 12 weeks mark at 5 weeks. Every woman has different amounts of levels! No level says a certian gestational age. As long as the baby was fine then that is all you need to think of.
Ok thank you. I think I will try to look it up more, I felt confident leaving the doctors that I could be ok but my family makes me feel like it is a sure miscarriage =/ so i do not know what to believe. I just hope our baby is ok in there.
Hi. I'm sorry that you're going through this. I had some bleeding early during pregnancy and it did eventually stop and the baby was ok. As far as the irregular sac, I don't have any experience with that. Hopefully, someone else who has experienced this will respond to you.
