So i had the depo injection for contraception ages ago. My libido went completely. Thought it might come back when I have my period. It didn't. I just don't get turned on, ever. It really upsets me because Ihave to have sex when iI'm not turned on just to keep my relationship happy. Although he doesn'tknow this. So we have sex. And tbf he's not very good. Rarely makes me come. Doesn't know what hes doing, so I fake it a little but not too obv. Then after were done he always has to ask. 'did you come? How many times? Was i good?' blah blah blah really annoys me. Sorry for the rant. Anyone else had the no libido thing before? Or poo sex?

I use a diaphragm BC birth control makes me very sick and it has always worked. No hormones and you don't even feel it when you have sex neither does he. So its just like having sex without a condom but you are using protection!

I had the shot for many years and the only thing I got was headaches. Birth control to me just comes with so many damn side effects it doesn't seem to be worth it. The mirena proved to be hell for me.

I've never personally had depo, but two of my friends have had awful hormonal experiences. One became severely depressed and the other very angry/agitated. They both felt uninterested in sex, which one usually doesn't go crazy about, but the other (before depo) had quite a healthy labido.

Yeah i had depo for about a yr and a half and had no labido then switched to nuva ring with the same problem and super bitchy. In order to save my relationship i went off bc for a.few months to let my body get normal again and that is when i got prego. Thinking of a more perm bc after this one. Debating on getting tubes tied but im omly 24 but i have.2 kids including this preg and i feel like im done but just nervous
