I had a scare!

Well yesterday i didnt feel Jamin move at all. for 24 hrs.i know im still early to feel steady movement (im 26 weeks) but when i was so used to feeling him everyday and being able to see my stomach move it was scary not to feel anything all day. i called the nurse at the office i go to which is a really good friend of mine and she got my doc to call me. which i thought was really nice of her! Most docs wouldnt do that. it was a sunday night too. she told me to eat and drink something sweet so i got a snickers and a coke and downed those then she said to lay on my left side and see if i felt him. well i laid there for an hr and nothing. so she sent me to the er to check the hb and put me on the fetal monitors to check for movement and to make sure i wasnt having contractions or anything else. everything looked great. she explained why i prob wasnt feeling him and that she just wanted to send me in to the er for a peice of mind for me and her. she said i wouldnt be able to sleep and that she wouldnt either. it seriously was the scariest thing that ive been through. i just prayed to God that everything was okay. the policy at the hosp was that i would have to stay over night but she called the er before i go there and talked to the docs to work it to where i could go home after. she had to come to the hosp to d/c me if i wanted to leave that night which was 1 in the am! Im so thankful everything is okay! I prob wouldnt have freaked out if i hadnt had to miscarriages, but i needed the reassurance. i was so scared. And what a wonderful doc i have!

well my doc said that he still pretty small and that he may have had his back up against my stomach so he was kicking away, she said he still has so much room to move. there were so many things she said it couldve been. my sis is preg with her 2nd and she said thqt whe could remember days that she didnt feel her first and same with her 2nd preg. i guess its just one of those things..im just thankful he was and is okay!

I am glad also that everything was good. It is scary to feel your lil one everyday and then one day they're just a little more quiet. I read that babies are just like normal people, they have there on days and their quiet days :)
