Hi all!! Have jist found out we are expecting and just wondering how long people waited to see a midwife?
That depends more on when your midwife wants to see. They all have their own policy. Call and they will make an appointment for when they want you to come in.

I have just found out that I am pregnant today. I am about 5 weeks. I found and called up my LMC straight away and booked an appointment for 8 weeks. I also went straight to my GP to confirm pregnancy and have got a blood test form to get hormone levels checked tomorrow.
I would suggest getting in contact with your LMC asap, and maybe see your GP in the mean time.
