Could be nothing...could be early signs of cervical cancer . I had abnormal pap when I was pregnant with my oldest..by time he was born and they did they biopsy it was stage 3 cervical cancer...went thru a few surgical procedures and went on to have 3 more healthy babies even though they told me to remove it all they'd have to do a complete hysterectomy. I refused that procedure  since I was only 19 at the time. But I am now 27 and am due with my 5th child n November. Remember to stay positive and never be afraid to speak to ur Dr and ask questions.

I always get abnormal paps and there's never anything wrong. I wouldn't get too worried about it, it happens all the time.

Cervical cancer cant be treated.  They will scrap off a thin layer of tissue on your cervix. If if even gets to that point.

I have abnormal pap smear for 5 years now and after multiple biopsy they did find any sign of cancer... In my family, nearly every woman have abnormal pap smear before there first pregnancy and it came back normal after. I would have to follow up with a biopsy after baby born. I had forgotten about it before reading your post.

Hi niriaandvictor* I know exactly how that feels, before my pregnancy they picked up I have SIN1, the first stage of cervical cancer. Went through treatments and it made me sick! After the treatment I waited another 4-6 months and it still hasn't gone away. Went and had a biopsy which turned out I was already 4 weeks pregnant, luckily the biopsy didn't effect my pregnancy. This all happened at 22 years of age and I couldn't understand why would this happen to me at such a young age. But all turned out great, after my lil girl was born and at my 6 week check up it went away. Just keep your head up and try not to stress about it. Enjoy your pregnancy, and after bub is born just go for another pap smear.  All will work out, keep faith :)

Sometimes when your pregnant, they come back abnormal because they can't get a good amount to test. I know someone who had this problem too, so don't worry too much.

I will say this. Almost every single pap I've ever received came back abnormal. I wouldn't worry too much about it. So many things can cause abnormal pap. Just make sure to follow up with doctor.
