Paranoid about possible pregnancy

Hi me and my long term boyfriend had protected sex last Friday but the condom broke and we were both in complete and utter shock. I was scared I could get pregnant so we both went to the pharmacy on that same day to get an emergency contraception pill. I took it after about 6 hours post exposure but i'm STILL worried it might not work or something. I'm only 17 and I'm no way ready to raise a baby hence why we were using a condom. I jus cnt belive it happened to me. My period is supposed to be due in 10 days so I guess all I can do is wait. In a meantime we are Guna get tested for STDs! Any one have any advice? I could really use it

No, you are more likely not to be pregnant.  The morning after pill works 75% of the time but fails 25% of the time.

So am I more likely to be pregnant than not pregnant? Baring in mind I took the emergency contraception pill on the same day of exposure ? I'm really worried and tbh I think I would throw a fit if I don't see my period ! x

I am going to give you some honest advice.

Based on the dates you have provided, it looks like the condom broke around the time when you are most fertile.  The morning after pill has about a 25% failure rate so its possible you could get pregnant but you are 3X more likely not to be pregnant.

I suggest that you take a test in about 2 weeks irregardless of whether you get your period or not.  Also, be aware that the morning after pill is very likely to effect this cycle (you may miss your period altogether or have unusual bleeding at a different time that usual - this is all very normal).
