When should I purchase baby.car seat

Hi ladies ? When should I purchase my.baby car seat I am.7 months today.

I'm 28 weeks bought mine at 18 weeks....
Couldn't Waite....
I was thinking what about if later they don't have that car seat anymore or they discontinue that brand or style .....
So I bought it... I thought I was a little early
Now I'm 28 weeks glad I bought it...,,
Now I could shop for other things....
But hear in California you get free car seats at the hospital...

I think before 34 weeks to be safe. For my first daughter I was waitin til 37 weeks and went in labor before I got my seat so while I was in the hospital my husband had to go buy one :/ needless to say I wasn't very happy with his choice!

I got the car seat and pusher at 16 weeks as we got a great price. Go with what you feel, everyone will tell you to wait just in case there is a problem which is understandable but its up to you.

It just depends... there is no reason to really wait. I am 28 weeks and got mine a few weeks ago. Just depends how much of a planner you are.... I get nervous when everything is not planned so its easier to get everything purchased early.

I was thinking of waiting also maybe I'll purchase one about 34 weeks I'm thinking unless I'm see one that's on sale before then
