Pierre Robin Syndrome

Alright so. I was born with pierre robin syndrome and have a history of cleft pallets on my moms side of the family. The chances of our baby having pierre robin syndrome or at least a cleft pallet are pretty high. So my question is though can this prevent me from having a home birth?? I really want to have a home birth but my step mom is a cardiac nurse and keeps pestering me about going to a hospital instead. So i just wanted to get some input from you guys on what you think. Or if any of you have had a homebirth with a cleft pallet baby or a baby who had pierre robin syndrome. Thanks for the help i reallyy appreciate it. :)

Amniocentesis tests for genetic diseases. When it comes to pierre robin or cleft pallet people who have that have sticklers syndrome but sticklers hardly ever shows up in testing. They tested me for sticklers syndrome but of course it didn't come up but they're just gonna go with that I have it. So theres not really a way to tell if the baby has it. Unless its super apparent in the ultrasound. I'm going in for my anatomy scan tomorrow so maybe they'll be able to see something but idk. I was just wondering if anybody has had a homebirth with a baby who had cleft pallet or pierre robin syndrome. Thanks for replying :)

Can you have amniocentesis to test for it? & a 3d scan to check for cleft palet? I personally would just birth at the hospital, so many things could go wrong at home.
