Yeah, really, If you truely are pregnant you dont have to wait for the test to come up positive.  Mine came up positive four days after sex.  I'm just telling you this so that you dont get your hopes up.  I know they say that you can get a negative test up to two weeks but usually it'll show up almost right way.  Also, you mayt be having the symptoms because you are psyching yourself out and your brain is begining to tell your body that you're pregnant even though you're not.

Sorry didn't read your last post, if your last period was july 26th then you would have had a pos test by now. So if the dr says its neg, its def neg. Good luck next time! symptoms don't mean anything unless you get a pos test, so don't stress, you def waited long enough to test. Again good luck next month!

Test any time, my last Period was July 24th and i got a positive last Monday, so you can def test, i would not read too much into the tired thing. Are your boobs swollen? That is usually a first sign, along with the missed period also it is tight alittle bit down there like mild cramping not painful though, and peeing alot. So test any time and let me know how it goes~

Having pregnancy symptoms, and even being late, doesn't mean you're pregnant.

If you had sex before your last period (meaning you had a period) then you are most likely not pregnant and the stress of worrying that you are pregnant could be causing you to be late.

Regardless, take a First Response test in the morning.

yep, anytime after you miss your period, but most tests will recommend waiting 14-19 days after you think that you may have conceived. I would recommend testing with a more sensitive test if you are testing earlier, such as First Response Early Result, but if you are already a week late than any test would probably be accurate.
I am a little confused on your question though... you said you had unprotected sex before your period last month.. so does that mean that you have had a period since you had sex??

If you had unprotected sex before your period last month, and you are now late you can test anytime. Most home pregnancy tests have a specific number of days in the instructions to wait to test from the last time you had sex, I've found 19 days on most I've read. But anytime after the first day your period is due is ok to test, but keep in mind you may not have a high enough HCG level to get a positive from the first day, but again since you are a week late you can test anytime and should get an accurate result.
