Possibly pregnant?

ok.... I've officially missed my period 2 months in a row and had 3 different blood tests at the hospital near where i live and all three times the result has been negative. I finally with the help of my grandmother managed to get enough money together to set up an appointment with my OBGYN on Monday afternoon but it seems so far away at the moment and I'm getting really nervous. I'm a second year Counseling major in college, my fiance is currently in Iraq and won't be home till late January to early February, and i live with one of our high school friends. I'm experiencing mid to lower back pain, some nausea but not much, tenderness of the breasts, cravings for spicy foods which i don't normally eat, and I've been much more tired than normal. And I've always been right on the dot with my period before now.... and if my friend and I are right about the math if i am pregnant it's between the 9th and 10th month..... any suggestions? Because I'm a little antsy and I'd like some opinions before Monday's appointment..

Not unlikely at all!  All of my tests both blood an urine kept coming back negative as well and I didn't get a positive until she was 4 months along (& yes, that's how far along she was).  My mother was carrying my brother for quite awhile with the same problem, though she never kept track of how far along.  My brother's girlfriend carried their daughter for 3 months before any tests came back positive and I am now 6 months along, with possibly another one that is undetected (possibly due to some stress which I understand can affect it as well).

I had a little bit of back pain about the same area as well, but not much.  Keep in mind that the ultra sound may not show anything.  We were told that at an early stage it was possible that the ultra sound might not detect anything.

Most likely your period is absent due to some reason other than pregnancy. Good luck at your appt and let us know how it goes.

I wouldn't say back pain is a symptom of early pregnancy since at 10 weeks the baby is too small to have any physical impact on you like that. At 10 weeks my symptoms included nausea, increased appetite, tiredness and breast tenderness. Back pain is most common in late pregnancy. So you have some typical symptoms... best of luck and I hope you get the result you're looking for.

Very unlikely my dear.to be pregnant you have to have a hcg of over 5,to be pregnant at all you need hcg in your body.which would show up on a blood test, particular after couple months gone, the hcg is measured to see A how far you are,and B is used for women like myself who have had multible miscarriages.if you are convinced your pregnant ask for an ultra sound.if you dont believe the blood tests.at almost 10 weeks. your level would be in the region of
9 - 12 weeks LMP: 25,700 - 288,000 mIU/ml

sorry i meant week not month....  and from what i hear the blood test isn't always right.... my mom had false negatives with me until she was almost 5 months along and another military wife i know didn't get a positive blood test back till she was almost 4 months along.... but again this is why I wanted feedback and why the visit with my OBGYN is finally schedualed....

To be honest if you have had 2 missed periods in a row and negative tests, then your not pregnant.blood tests are accurate 100% I would say you have other problems which i why you havent had a period by now.what do you mean if your pregnant is between the 9th and 10th month.
