My 39week update - Anyday now!!!!!
Hi Girls!
Ive just been for my 39 weeks check up and doc did my first internal V/Examination (and arent they pleasant... not!). Im 1cm Dialated and 25% effaced so could be anyday!! Babys head is also firmly engaged now which is great! Im so excited to think it could be tonight or even if it is next week still Im happy to know its happening!
I havent lost my plug yet but I do have alot of pressure down there so something must be happening...
Fingers crossed Im hoping for my baby to be born on the lucky 08/08/08 - wouldnt that be great to say that was your date of birth! Then again apart of me wants it to happen now impatiently hehe :-)
Ill be checking in everyday to kill time and boredom, So if you dont hear from me for a few days ladies you know where I am! Wish me luck! Im nervous and so so so excited. Weve waited for this for so many years and now its only a matter of moments :-)

Congratulations Lorri, good on you for coming so far. I hope you have your little man sooner than you know. Fingers crossed for a quick and relatively painless delivery. I can't wait til I am upto where you are. Coming up to 10 weeks to go so thats exciting =] ALL THE BEST x

I have my 39.5 checkup on friday and if my baby is not born by then i get too schedule my induction date for next week yay me its getting closer and closer and im glad because i just dont want to be in this condition anymore
Well I have been at 2cm and 50% effaced since last Thursday. Have been having contractions, throwing up, and the sorts for 12 days now. I hope it comes faster for you than it is for me!!!!
