Just found out I failed the one hour glucose test now I have to go back for the 3 hour one. I really hope I don't have gestational diabetes.

Thanks ladies! And I definitely will be bringing things to past the time. @reb1006, I did my test last week on Thursday and I just heard back today. If you don't hear anything before your next appointment you probably passed.

I have diabetes type two and i failed the one hour and did the 3 hour test and passed going for you to do the same i do not like shots so  was so relieved but the the hour test is more detailed so hopefully your pass it!! Good luck and sending good vibes your way

I did my test last Thursday and havent heard anything yet so I'm assuming no news is good news? How long did it take for you ladies to hear back?

I had to Fast for the 1 hour one and i still failed.
I passed my 3 hour test though.  It's common to fail the 1 hour and pass the 3 hour one.

You'll be OK hun. Its probably nothing. When I did the one hour I failed too. I did the 3 hour test and passed. It's more of a 4hour test so prepare yourself. Take an iPad, a good book, or a friend to help you pass the time.

Yeah I didn't fast for the first one either only because my doctor told me I didn't have to. Now I wish I did because I think that's why I failed. But whatever now I'm definitely fasting before this 3 hour one. And thanks! Good idea.

Boo.  :>(  I hope you don't have that either.  I flunked my test with my first pregnancy (I didn't fast before hand . . .  big mistake) and had to do the longer test.  It was a pain. But in the end, I didn't have gestational diabetes.  So, fast before hand and hope for the best. Bring good reading material to the appointment and hang in there.
